Laura Stöckl

Laura Stöckl is a German–Luxembourgish artist based in Amsterdam.

With a background in high-end fashion design for houses such as Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld, and Matthew Williamson, she bridges the worlds of art and fashion through a practice rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and emotional resonance.

A synesthete, Laura experiences sounds, emotions, and memories as color—transforming this vivid inner world into large-scale abstract works and layered collage pieces. Her creations range from luminous gradient canvases to bold visual narratives incorporating pop culture, WhatsApp conversations, and handwritten notes. The result is a playful yet poignant exploration of identity, connection, and modern womanhood.

In 2020, she introduced her signature Löwie—a lioness emblem inspired by her childhood nickname—marking the moment she claimed her independent artistic voice. Her work has since been exhibited internationally and collected by private buyers and galleries across Europe and beyond.Alongside her artistic practice, Laura consults in the luxury fashion industry, specializing in leather goods and accessories. Her deep expertise in high-end design informs both her creative process and her collaborations with brands seeking innovation and bold vision. In 2024, Laura held two solo exhibitions in Amsterdam and is expanding her international presence through curated group shows and cross-disciplinary partnerships. In 2025, she is preparing solo shows in Amsterdam and Brussels, as well as an artist collaboration with New York–based high-end fashion brand Verafied. Exciting partnerships are already in motion for 2026, including her upcoming solo exhibition at APPIE in May.
